My Journey
Hi, I’m Courtney, founder of Inner Heart Glow — a space created from my health journey, rooted in whole-body healing and the connection between body, mind, and spirit.
For most of my life, my heart condition was something I only thought about during doctor visits. I was blessed to live fully — active, independent, and focused on everything life had to offer.
In 2021, new health challenges emerged that impacted my liver and shifted how I understood my health. I realized that true wellness isn’t just about the heart — it’s about supporting the entire body, where everything is deeply connected.
That same year, completing my yoga teacher training opened another layer of understanding: that true healing isn’t just physical — it’s about caring for the mind and spirit as well.
Today, taking care of my whole self isn’t just something I do — it’s something I’m deeply passionate about. Every decision I make centers around whether it supports my body, my health, and my overall well-being.
Inner Heart Glow is a reflection of that belief — a space where I share the habits, practices, and perspectives that help me thrive from the inside out. Everything here is based on my lived experiences, personal research, and years of learning through trial and error. I'm not a medical professional — just someone who's walked this path firsthand and is passionate about helping others feel stronger, more connected, and more empowered in their own journeys.
Western medicine has given me so much, and I’m endlessly grateful for it — but I’ve also learned there are gaps it doesn’t always fill. True wellness requires taking personal responsibility, advocating for yourself, and learning how to care for your body in ways that aren't always taught. These lessons have shaped how I live today: rooted in care, connection, and conscious choice.
My Mission
My mission with Inner Heart Glow is to support and empower others — especially those living with congenital heart conditions or chronic illness — by sharing what I’ve learned through my own healing journey.
While Western medicine has been life-saving, I’ve come to understand that true wellness goes far beyond one organ or diagnosis. The body, mind, and spirit are deeply connected — and healing requires caring for the whole self.
Through lived experience, personal research, and the privilege of access to both Eastern and Western healing modalities, I’ve come to believe that we must focus on what we can control: the way we nourish our bodies, manage stress, move mindfully, advocate for ourselves, and live with intention.
My hope is to bridge the gap between clinical care and everyday life — offering encouragement, resources, and insight for anyone navigating their own health journey.
